30 seconds from the Hut’s doorstep are wet rooms, toilets and a fully fitted kitchen with modern facilities, this newly built guest area includes a Double Kitchen, your own Personal Fridge, Wet Rooms & Toilets and is checked several times a day to maintain the high standard of cleanliness.
Inside the shepherd’s hut, there is a fixed double and single bed with plenty of cupboard and drawer space, a kettle and toaster, plus power sockets with USB fittings – perfect for a special family getaway to escape the daily grind and reconnect, what better place than Avona Escapes based in the heart of the peak district.
Surrounded by the hills and trees of this tranquil location with the luxury of comfortable, warm accommodation with modern facilities to enjoy the area in any weather. All of Avona Escapes Huts & Pods have amazing views from all angles, with absolutely no road noise and incredible walking routes on your doorstep.
Avona Escapes is a small site with two Shepherd’s Huts and two Modern Build Pods, so there is no overcrowding and each hut is in its own nice space. A Firepit or BBQ can be provided with Wood & Charcoal for sale on site.

At Avona Escapes you are surrounded by amazing views, various hiking trails for all levels of walkers, just a few miles away you have the beautiful hills of Buxton, wonderful market towns including Leek, Congleton and Bakewell.
We have several lakes in our area including Rudyard Lake and Tittesworth Reservoir, if you are looking for a more exhilarating day out we are only a 30 minute drive from Alton Towers and Waterworld at Stoke-on-Trent is just a 20 minute journey away. Whatever you decide to do you will be able to come back to Avona, away from road noise, crowds of people and relax, taking in the amazing views, watching the Alpacas and Rheas in the field whilst waiting for the most beautiful sunsets.
